We are affiliated to the British Riding Clubs movement and members have the opportunity to compete at Area and National levels.
Some of the qualifying competitions are listed below - they are copied from other club sites so please contact Sue Lund as she will have up to date lists and schedules.
If you wish to be considered for a team place please renew or join as soon as possible and then contact Sue with your details.

Area 13 now has a site where clubs can post events open to all clubs in Area 13 - please keep an eye on this site. I will reblog as many posts as I can from their site to our blogger site (incase it is too much for you too look on all these different areas I have embedded our blog in this site).

Now the 'official' stuff......
- All flu vaccinations MUST be up-to-date - British Riding Clubs are notoriously strict on this to the point of disqualification. There is a date checker on the BRC website, on the Rulebook page, so you can make sure you're in date.
- All riders must be paid-up members by close of preliminary entries, which is 3 weeks before the qualifying date (22nd Jan for the showjumping, 29th Jan for the dressage). So anyone who is interested but hasn't yet renewed their membership, do it now!

The Area Quiz will be on Thursday 22nd March 2012, at the British Wildlife Centre, on the A22 Blindley Heath, Surrey.
Teams of up to 6 people, we can make up teams on the night, please let Sue know if you want to attend. £6 per team for Horley members, £12 for other Area 13 member teams. Equestrian based quiz with refreshments provided.

Dressage & Riding Test - 1st July 2012 (earlier in the month than I thought this year) more details to follow.
Also, the London & South East championships are on Sunday 30th September. As Area 13 are hosting this we need volunteers to help - even if we don't send a team.
